Our SECOND Bundle of Joy ;)

Hello fellas. Greetings to you all !! :)

Yeah, i know, i know, it has been soOoOo long since my last post. And now, I would say, it is so good to be able to have a "sit-back-and-relax-kinda-moment", and of course to be having something good to share with you all :) Well, as my Entry suggests, yeah, it is literally about our second baby. I have shared  the good news on the arrival of our very firstborn; Brian Valerian, about 3 years plus ago. And here I am, sharing another good news :)

Our  second bub was born in the pink of health on the September 2nd, 2014 at 11.41am via C-section, at Hospital Wanita dan Kanak-Kanak (HWKK), Sabah. Since it was in the Government Hospital, so Hubby couldn't take any photos at the first few seconds of baby's life, unlike her older brother. But just to hear her 1st cry was more than enough I could ask for :)

Oh, what's her name?? Just to be honest to you, to have this particular baby in this world was quite a challenge for me. Let me just share what was the challenge about :-

1) I bled at the 5th week, for almost two weeks, non-stop. I went to see Dr. Vijay of Sabah Care Specialist, who is famous enough of his no non-sense facts and also not-too-quick-to-judge (thanks to cousin Dr. Leydra for recommending me to him). If only I happened to go and see other Docs, the possibility was, I would be having a miscarriage.

2) At 20weeks, Dr. Vijay suspected I would be having a Placenta Praevia (PP). There goes my dream of delivering my baby at the private hospital *sigh*

3) At 30weeks, confirmed PP Type-2 by Dr. Vijay, and seconded by the Obgyn I see at the KKIA Penampang. Was referred to HWKK for future consultations. *cry*

4) At 36weeks, the Obgyn at HWKK said (based on the scan), I can have a normal birth. *happy* But she advised, once I bleed, then I will have to rush to the Emergency Room at HWKK. *goosebump!* Another advise (after I asked), she didn't recommend me to deliver at the private hospital because I have this PP. *sad, again, cry, again*

5) At 37weeks + 1day, just after I had my lunch with a number of colleagues at City Mall, I bled !! Called and informed my Hubby. And an ambulance from my hospital came to the rescue. Was admitted at HWKK, bleeding was on and off.

6) At 37weeks + 5days, baby was born. I finally could SMILE and WEPT MY TEARS OF HAPPINESS. Thank You Jesus.

Now, the name is BETHANY SOPHIA. There are actually justified meanings for that name, but let Hubby and I just keep it to ourselves. Btw, her nick is Sophia :)

One- Day old Sophia with Mom & Dad :)

Mummy changing nappies
Mom, eldest and youngest sisters
came to visit Sophia :)

With proud Daddy :)

With happy Mom :)

Brian is so content :)

Playing with his sister :)
The WHOLEEE FAMILY came to visit !! *happy*

Her tiny left foot resting
on Daddy's palm :)

Last but not least, before I shut my lappy down, I would love to extend my gratitude and special thanks to everyone involved. You know who you are. I may not be able to return your kind help physically, but I assure you of my prayers, that God will always shower you all with His blessings. Amen.

Our 3rd Year Together :)

Greetings, Annyeonghaseyo, Konnichiwa, and Kopivosian everyone !!

I hope this entry of mine finds you all well and FIT at your end :)

Yes, it has been a while since my last post. And last two days, it so happened that a very dear friend of mine telling me this - "hey, update lah ur blog that, lama suda post ko pasal ur kening" (Hey, your  Eyebrow Entry has been there for quite some time already, so it is time to update it..) How nice it is to have at least someone to read our entries, huh? :) I am very grateful. So lovely. God bless you all who do follow and read my humble blog. I really appreciate it.

Right on, today is July 17th. Well, if you can actually recall, this very date is the most meaningful date in my life. It was the day when I said "I DO" to Mr Jipanis Suali (or fondly known as Mr Jay among our good friends). And it was THREE years back. Pheww, time flies, really.

There are indeed so many ups and downs we had come across. Too many too mention, and I don't think I should disclose them here, do I? For married couples, especially with offspring(s), you do get me, don't cha? :)

Hubby and I have had professed "The Wedding Vow" in front of the Catholic Church, in front of the Priest, and simply in front of the crowd who attended our Wedding Mass, three (3) years ago. So, be it. Bitter or sweet, it is STILL a celebration of a blessed love. Yes, you can literally take it like that. Two become one, in Jesus name.

From the 1st anniversary until today's one, Mr Hubby and I have celebrated our UNION without fail. We pray to God that it will be an unending celebration. Fingers-crossed. Through infinity, and beyond...!! (sila baca seperti nada suara Buzz Lightyear dalam Toy Story, hehe).

So, here's to you, our simple 3rd Anniversary Celebration, as the Mr & Mrs Jipanis Suali :)

We start the day with a spread of
Dim Sum Breakfast at a close-by
restaurant :)

Catching up a good movie such as "Lone Ranger"
should never be missed. We laughed out so loud,
like to the max. Loads of funny & crazy scenes.
Johnny Depp has never been a disappointment :)
Just before we headed for our anniversary lunch,
we had a very quick games. We bought gift for each other :)
These gifts are not to be kept in the wardrobe.
We simply in NEED of them because the existing ones
are badly in need of a replacement. Yeah, we have the same
taste this time, it is Pierre Cardin :)

p/s : ada SALES mahh, ngeee

WE ARE HUNGRY but pretended to look cool.

Dates, cheese, bread, etc..
These are only the
appetizers.
A yummy one. So DELISH.
But, still LAPAR..

Top : Main Dish - Lamb Briyani, Chicken
Kebab and Beef Kofta. Looks a bit awkward huh?
But they tasted great, seriously!
Below : Dessert - Fruits and Kuih Muih.
Sweet and simple :)

We are FULL. Were actually trying
to finish the dessert, but couldn't afford it.
"No space already, hehe"

A story is not a story without the ending.

So to Mr Husband,
JIPANIS BIN SUALI

I am NOT superwoman
Therefore, please do not expect me to be the perfect wife.
But, nevertheless,
there is ONE thing I can promise to you
 that
I LOVE YOU
AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
UNTIL THE DAY I BREATHE MY LAST :)

FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART
I THANK YOU FOR TODAY
I LIKE IT WHEN WE ALWAYS MANAGE TO "KISS"
Keep-It-Short-&-Simple :)

HAPPY 3rd ANNIVERSARY SAYANG aka DADDY !!

LET US PRAY THAT THERE WILL BE MANY MANY MANY MANY MORE TO COME!

GOD BLESS YOU, MYSELF & OUR SON !

 Much much much love,
Your one and only WIFE :)

T.W.O

The Apple of Daddy & Mummy's Eyes Turns
TWO YEARS OLD :)

"I am TWO" :)
Hello Hello Hello !! Hey all, our Brian, our baby not-so-baby-anymore turned 2yo last Sat, Apr 13th :) Well, many would agree with me that time flies, like real fast when it comes to child-raising. It feels it was just like yesterday when we celebrated Brian's 1st Birthday Bash. We even managed to snap our family photo when he turned 1 year old last year. You see, how time flies *geleng kepala*.
By the way, to be exact, the memories of delivering Brian into this world are still fresh on my mind. It was indeed a very wonderful experience to giving birth to such a darling and beautiful offspring :)

My darling.. You see yourself here Son..
You were only less than 5minutes old when Daddy

 snapped this photo :).

And, you are 1 year old here !!! :)
Photos taken on 13.04.2013.Well done, boy ! You can now feed yourself already :)

My family (and I also believe many of you out there) has the tradition of celebrating our birthdays. It's like a MUST to us. The size, the venue, the time - not a problem to us, as long as there is a candle blowing :)  So, here's to you, Brian's 2nd birthday celebration, last Sunday (14.04.2013). A very simple one. A very small-scaled-kinda-party.
Held at our family home in Kampung Kepayan.
Our humble cake, birthday song, candles blowing and cake cutting :)
p/s The Red Velvet Cake was ordered from Lyndora Cakes & Cookies.
The cake was beyond AWESOME!!  Go & get some for yourself! :)

Grilled and roasted by dear Hubs & my BIL Philip Ng. The lamb chops were
sponsored by my Mother. The soup was from my eldest sis.
We also had fried noodles for longevity (oh yeah?).

p/s : Be kind to others, and others will do the same in return :)

Our "Star-of-the-Nite" enjoying the soup,
feeding on his own and had it all to himself :)
Our Guests of Honor. My Aunty and Mr Jay's cousins :)

Another one here; my Eldest Sis and family ;
and family friend, Debbie and family :)

This is Gracey & family,  Shirley and as well as Vera :)
p/s : Yayyy, ada juga wakil dari Husband's side !! :)

THANK YOU FOR COMING EVERYONE ~!!

A SPECIAL GRATITUDE TO MY FAMILY  MEMBERS
WHO WERE THERE TO LEND A HELPING HAND.

GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU :)

Err, excuse me, errr, this is not the end yet. Hehe.
I have actually written a special note for our baby young man :)
So, stay-tuned :)

Dear Brian,
You are the most beautiful gift we have ever received from God..
You are such a blessing to Daddy & Mummy..
You are the pillar of strength to us..
Despite being the baby for the past two years,
you are indeed a very strong human being, Son..
You went through lots and loads of trials and pains..
You have never failed to smile and shine albeit being ill at some times..
But as Daddy always says, "it's a growing process.."
No words can ever describe the love and the faith we have in you..
Needless to say, you grow up so fast, like real fast..
You are now a TODDLER, Son..
Hence, on your very 2nd birthday,
We do not want to be demanding (or asking) too much,
We just wanna say..
STAY THE WAY YOU ARE..BE THE BRIAN VALERIAN :)

Blessed Birthday to you, Mr Brian !

We love you yesterday, tomorrow and till eternity..
May the good Lord Jesus will always wrap you with His love. AMEN.

The TRIPLE TWELVE

Hello there ~

Well, well, well.. it has been awhile since my last post, huh? yeah, i know right :) And if you happen to bump into this post, I THANK YOU for your time ... :)

Why I chose to "suddenly" write/post an entry on this very special date? Reasons being - as you and I know, the same date would not happen AGAIN. Secondly, Hubs and I decided to bring Brian to visit the Gaya Christmas celebration,  And it was so cool that the last day of the celeb was 12.12.12. So, you think I would want to miss the opportunity?? Yihaaa !!

For your information, Brian normally  goes to bed at 7pm-8pm every night. So, before taking him out tonight, we had to make sure that he's taken his dinner. So, what we did was, Hubs and I divided the tasks on who will feed Brian and who will bath him. Aye, cut the story short.

We left home at about 7.30pm just now. Look at the photos below which were captured during our visit to Gaya Christmas Celebration, just now, 12.12.12, their last day :)

Brian and Daddy mesmerized by the angelic voice
of the Carollers singing "Oh, Holy Night" :)

Standing at the "Pintu Gerbang"
with Daddy and Grandma:)

In front of the Giant Christmas Tree and the Crib  :)

We spent almost an hour there, and we left at about 8.30pm. On our way to Grace Point, Sembulan to have dinner, Brian fell asleep in the car... deep sleep, indeed :)

## Nevertheless, to you Son, Thank You so much for "postponing" your bedtime tonight. Mummy,  Daddy and Nenek are so pleased to have brought you to Gaya Christmas Celebration tonight. It was your first, you know, and on a very special date some more :) Love u muchooo !! :) Bear hugs to you from us three :)

He's the MAN !!!

This happened last Tuesday; 21st August 2012 on our way back home from Hubs' hometown Tenghilan. We were not pleased when we had to face one challenge, a FALLEN OLD TREE on the road !! With no machete, no saw, no knife (?) - so what was left with us were only our BARE HANDS.

Brian was with us (of course) and my Hubs just had to "get rid of the tree" all by himself. He is very very very strong. See below :)

In a quest to breaking the branches..

Still, trying so hard... And he thinks this (Pic 3) should be okay..

Yayyy, he managed to pass the challenge with success !! :)

He IS the MAN !!

Gaya Street Fair :)

It was one day shy till Brian turned 16months and Hubs decided to take Brian for a "walk" at our famous Gaya Street Fair on the August 12th, 2012.

It was Brian's first time to be in a large and crowded place and we found ourselves a bit worried whether he would be okay with it, but it turned just ALRIGHT :)

Here's the proof :)

Our FINEST Sunday :)

Being a full time working parents, it is kinda hard to find a time for just the three of us. BUT, we just had to and we decided to visit the Perdana Park, Tanjung Aru - approximately 15 minutes drive from our home :)

We had so much much much of fun !!! Do check out our captured-moments ya !!  :) Thank You for your time peeps !! :)

Brian LOVED the park,  just look at his smiles !! :D

Again!! He was so happyyy !!!

Enjoyed looking at the dancing fountain :)

Celebrating the 731st day In Our Own Way :)

Dimmed-light. Perfect for the two of us :)

ABC - Our favorite !!

"The Amazing Spiderman"
Believe it or not, this movie was our 1st movie we watched together
eversince Brian was born, exactly 15months & 4days ago
. We have been
dedicating our time (and we are still) for Brian till yesterday.
And today, we just had to have fun again *grin
Note : Brian was at the nursery, okay. Hehe

Since Hubby and I are not Millionaires, so we celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary (based on the Canon Law) in a very simple and HUMBLE way.

There you go..

We had Ngiu Chap @ Kah Hiong, Hilltop, for breaky.

We had ABC  @ Sinar Mustika Marketplace 88, Kepayan, for our snack-time.

We watched a movie together at GSC Suria. Been longing for that.

We had late lunch at Suria Food Court.

We had dinner at the Beijing BBQ Restaurant, Bukit Padang.

We did not need to have a very lavish and luxurious celebration. A celebration could be very good enough for Hubby, baby Brian and myself when it is celebrated within our means. And it must be accompanied with a prayer :) We are NOTHING without GOD.

To my EVERDEAREST HUSBAND,

THANK YOU SO MUCH & FOR EVERYTHING.

I MISS YOU SO MUCH & ALL THE TIME.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THE MUCHEST !!!

** Special THANKS to my babysister Jacinta and my Mother for looking after baby Brian while we were out to have our dinner outside. God Bless you two. Love you both ~!!

The MAN in me :)

I always have the great passion in positive aggresive activities, and one of them was this; Territorial Army or in Malay it's called Askar Wataniah. Still don't get it? In a common phrase, it's called Army Volunteer.

This cool hobby of mine had actually taken place in the year of 2005 and 2006. 2005 was the Recruitment Course, and the latter year was a course for us to get a promotion - to a higher rank. Both courses were held at Paradise Camp, Kota Belud Sabah.

Below are the MOST VALUABLE experiences I have gained in my life. And, if you wish to ask me whether I'll be doing it again, my CONCRETE answer is NO. Do not ask, do not query. I have got enough, and I really mean it is E.N.O.U.G.H.

So, read on..

1) I got my whole body burnt by Mr Sun - well, of course with the exception of those hidden under my garment..

2) I got my calves swollen because of "masuk angin" - errr, what do we call that in English? Wind pains? Colic (I thought this is for infants) ? I surrender. Anyone?

3) I sprained my right shoulder after carrying an M16 rifle for 9-hours of walking. An empty M16 weighs 3.25kg or 7.18pounds, okay. Oh yes, plus another grammes for quite a number of live bullets.

4) I had my toes' nails torned - VERRRRY painful, okay.

5) I had a "good-bath-time" in a fish pond at 12am - well, that was actually a punishment after we were caught sleeping in a Captain's class !!

6) Drank one whole jug of "fresh" tap water. A jug of 1.5 litre, if I could recall. A punishmet, too.. O_o

7) I ever brought 6 raw eggs in a sock, and carried them with me whilst running/walking - in a swamp, then in that wet Army Uniform, still with the eggs, ran up and down a hill. I almost collapsed ! On the other hand, the other guys were actually even cooler. They ran/ walked while carrying a log timber !! Hey peeps, that was actually a game and we really had fun. Seriously.

8) Slept in my man-made "kubu" on top of a hill - it was raining some more and it was really damn cold!!

9) Climbed up a 12-feet tall fort, and jumped from the top to the ground ! *Nasib tidak patah kaki!!*

But whatever it is, those were the things which not everyone would enjoy doing it. I did it twice and I AM VERY PROUD OF IT :)

Hey wait, look at the photos which I scanned and would love to share them with you. Not to show off, but as a proof that I do have a bit of masculinity in myself :)

a PLATOON, all very close, just like good buddies :)

That's me in black Army tee. Was holding the post of Second Lieutenant.
I was instructing my subordinates to do some sketching :)

Giving a  brief explanation to the subordinates

Still in action

Nah, ambik kau!! Hitam itu menawan :)
I really enjoyed this moment.

A humble note :-

I have a very special reason why I am writing this entry. I am indeed very thankful to God that I met my Husband, Mr Jipanis Suali, a very good friend of mine, then.

We get to know each other in 2006. We were in two different platoons, and we both were picked by our Commander to challenge each other to get the Best Student Award. Apparently, luck was on my side :P

Let's have a SLOW DANCE..

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?

Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?

Ever followed  a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading light?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask "How Are You".. Do you take time to listen to the reply?

When the day is done
Do you lie in bed
With the next hundred chores running through your head?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

Ever told your child "we'll do it tomorrow",
and in your haste, not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch and let a good friendship dies
Cause you never had time to call and say "Hi"..

You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the run of getting there
When you worry and hurry through your day
It is like an unopened gift..
Thrown away

Life is not a race
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over..
